Chapter Index

    “That’s it!”

Asna shouted in a low voice: “Tell the guards at the Villa to hold them back no matter what their origins are, and I’ll call Olis…”

    “Ah——”

Before Asna could finish her words, Stannie screamed in her ears:

“Mom, it’s bad, Monica and the others are about to charge, oops, Aya walked out on her own initiative.”

“She is worried that the guards at the villa and others will be injured by the police, so she is willing to go to the detective bureau to cooperate with the investigation…”

He whispered: “Mom, do you want the guards of the villa to snatch someone away? If you let us fight, we can probably snatch Aiya back.”

“No, if you try to rob someone at this time, they will really die.”

Asna secretly called Aya a silly girl, but she understood her efforts. After all, Monica had a high position and came with heavy firepower and Prince Harmon’s warrant.

Not to mention the huge disparity in firepower between the two sides, even if they could kill these agents, the guards of the villa would be in a desperate situation.

Taking action against these people would be a rebellion, so it was understandable that Aya went to the police to cooperate with the investigation, but it only put herself in more danger.

She looked up at Ye Fan: “Master Ye, what should we do now?”

“Tell Stannie to take a picture of their license plate for me.”

Ye Fan tilted his head slightly towards Asna: “It’s time to meet the Sun family…”

    “Ugh!”

In a prison car similar to a cash transport truck, Aya was sitting on a bench on the left side, with two young agents sitting next to them, carrying firearms.

    Sitting opposite was Monica.

The proud woman’s legs were crossed, and her figure was wrapped in the well-fitting police uniform, which made her look very sultry and hot.

Seeing Aya’s indifferent expression, showing no sign of the prisoner’s consciousness, Monica snorted, her voice carrying a sense of majesty:

“Ms. Aiya, your Nightingale Villa is very good. You are almost fighting the law. It seems that you are really rich.”

“I’m really sorry that you came out, otherwise I would like to see if your watchdogs can block our torrent of steel.”

Thinking of the guns guarding them at Nightingale Villa, Monica felt angry.

If she had to rush back to the branch with the suspect Aiya, and the top police officials were wary of the Boston family’s prestige, Monica really wanted to kill those guys on the spot.

She also personally checked the firearms of the guards at Nightingale Villa, hoping to arrest them for illegal possession of firearms, but unfortunately, they were all legal firearms with codes.

“Officer Monica, don’t insult them like this. They are the guards of the Villa. It is their duty to protect Nightingale Villa and me.”

Hearing Monica’s words, Aya spoke out without being humble or arrogant: “And this is not what a qualified high-level detective should say.”

Aya knew that she should not leave Nightingale Villa, which would bring changes, but facing Monica who was prepared, she could only cooperate unconditionally.

She didn’t want Nightingale Villa to be shot, she didn’t want the guards at Nightingale Villa to die at gunpoint, and she didn’t want Asna and Ye Fan to be pushed to the forefront.

And she believed that as long as she was safe enough, Mark would rescue her safely.

    “Sharp teeth and sharp mouth!”

Monica stared at Aya with a fierce expression, as if Aya’s fate was firmly in her hand: “I tell you, it’s best not to go against me.”

“Don’t think that just because you are Asuna’s adopted daughter, you can do whatever you want with some money and status.”

“In my hands, you powerful children will end up worse than ordinary people, because I hate people like you the most.”

Monica’s voice was cold: “So you’d better be honest when you come back with me and tell me all about Dongfang boy’s whereabouts and crimes, otherwise the consequences will be serious.”

Aiya said calmly: “I don’t know the whereabouts of Mr. Ye.”

Monica sneered: “You don’t know, or you don’t want to say it!”

Aiya leaned forward slightly and responded in an indifferent voice: “I don’t know, and I don’t want to say it. Also, Mr. Ye is a law-abiding citizen and has committed no crime.”

    “Law-abiding citizens?”

Monica sneered: “This sentence is just to deceive the ignorant people. Anyone with any brains doesn’t know that Ye Fan killed a lot of people?”

“The Black Reckless Chamber of Commerce, Miss Sun, the Dragon Chasing Group, King Kong Slayer, Kosikas, and Strew who drank himself to death.”

“You dare to say that their deaths were not caused by Mark?”

“Do you think I dare to arrest your accomplice without evidence or witnesses?”

“Miss Aiya, let me tell you, there is no hidden traitor. If you and Ye Fan are targeted by me, there will be no other way out except to plead guilty and obey the law.”

“Don’t even think that Asna can protect you. I have received news that the Strews are angry with Asna and her son and are preparing to deal with them.”

Monica warned Aya: “So, you should cooperate with me obediently. Maybe I can treat you leniently, otherwise you will just wait to sit in jail.”

Aya said coldly: “Detective Monica, if you have evidence, sue me. If you don’t have evidence, don’t talk nonsense, or I will sue you for defamation.”

    “Slander…”

Monica was noncommittal: “You are quite legal-minded, but it’s a pity that you, a person who understands the law, committed a major crime with Mark.”

“Involving the death of Miss Sun and the Dragon Chasing Group, and Prince Harmon’s personal intervention, it is no longer possible for you to remain aloof.”

She straightened her body and added: “If it were me and you, I would hand over Ye Fan as soon as possible. After all, he killed him and has nothing to do with you.”

Aiya was as calm as water: “I didn’t kill Miss Sun or the Dragon Chasing Team. I also believe that Young Master Ye is innocent. I have nothing to explain.”

“So even if you ask a hundred times, I still don’t know the whereabouts and crimes of Mr. Ye.”

“Also, I would like to advise you that if you want to arrest Mr. Ye, it is best to have solid evidence.”

Aiya hides the needle: “Otherwise, I would be very worried if the tragedy of the Black Mang Chamber of Commerce or the Dragon Chasing Group happens. He is a good person, but not someone who is easy to bully.”

Thinking of the resolution of the Stru incident, Aiya had absolute respect and admiration for Mark.

When Monica saw Aya being so difficult to deal with, the competitiveness in her heart rose, and her voice invisibly increased by two decibels:

“It’s not your turn to tell me how this detective should do things.”

“Also, don’t threaten me with the Dongfang boy. No matter how awesome or arrogant he is, he can’t scare me.”

“Behind me are the Stormtroopers, Prince Harmon, and Prince Harmon’s master Xiong Potian!”

Monica said coldly: “I’m not afraid.”

    “Boom!”

As soon as he finished speaking, a white Tesla suddenly sprang out of the intersection and hit the police car in front of him.

There was a loud noise, and the police car rolled out, its windows shattered, and screams continued.

Monica and the two agents were shocked and reflexively held down their guns. They were surprised to see such a big movement outside.

When the convoy subconsciously stepped on the brakes and stood on the side of the road, Monica and the others heard shouting from the small window:

“The enemy is coming! The enemy is coming!”

Aya instantly sat up straight and became alert!
